Transparent Economics for Institutional Claims.

We strictly align our financial success with your recovery, operating on clear contingency models and flat-fee retainers.

Utah Claims Pros rejects hidden fees, and Utah Admin Code R590-274-7 flatly prohibits a public adjuster from taking compensation for referring you to an attorney, contractor, appraiser, umpire, or salvage firm. Every rate is disclosed in writing before representation begins. Review our fee structures below to understand exactly how we manage the economics of your property claim.

Claim Advocacy Contingency

Percentage of New Money

For property owners with an active, under-scoped insurance claim. You pay zero upfront costs. Our fee is a percentage of the additional recovery we secure above the carrier's initial offer, with the exact percentage and calculation method stated in your written contract before representation begins, as Utah Admin Code R590-274-7 requires. If we do not increase your settlement, we do not get paid.

Exclusions
Excludes legal representation fees if litigation is required outside our adjusting scope. A percentage fee is also unavailable by law where the insurer pays or commits in writing to pay policy limits within 72 hours of the loss report; in that case we bill only reasonable time and expenses under Utah Code 31A-26-402(2).
Guarantee
We guarantee written fee disclosure before representation and full adherence to Utah Code 31A-26-402.

Wasatch Resilience Retainer

Includes yearly Xactimate replacement cost valuations, a guaranteed four-hour response deployment in the event of a catastrophic loss, and priority queue status.

Exclusions
Excludes the contingency fee applied to any active claims filed during the year.
Guarantee
We guarantee immediate response metrics are met or your retainer is refunded.

Hourly Consulting & Appraisal

$350 / Hour

For commercial entities requiring expert witness testimony, formal appraisal dispute resolution services, or specialized claim auditing without full representation. Includes detailed structural estimating, umpire packet preparation, and direct negotiation formatting. The hourly rate and how it is applied are disclosed in the contract.

Exclusions
Excludes full claim management.
Guarantee
We guarantee all documentation meets the standards required by Utah Admin Code R590-190.

Pricing Questions

Fee Structure FAQ

Is there a statutory cap on public adjuster fees in Utah?+

No. Utah Code 31A-26-402 permits an hourly fee, a flat rate, a percentage of the amount the insurer pays to resolve the claim, or another agreed method of calculation, and sets no percentage cap. That does not mean fees are unregulated: the exact rate must be disclosed in writing in the contract, the fee must correspond to public adjusting services actually performed, and the statutory 72-hour policy-limits restriction applies.

What is the 72-hour policy-limits rule?+

Under Utah Code 31A-26-402(2), if the insurer pays or commits in writing to pay the full policy limit within 72 hours of the loss being reported, a public adjuster may not charge a percentage of that payment. We may only be paid reasonable compensation based on time spent on the claim and expenses incurred up to that point.

What happens if you can't get the carrier to pay more?+

Under our Claim Advocacy Contingency model, you only pay a percentage of the new money we recover. If our technical audits do not result in an increased settlement offer, you owe us nothing for the adjusting service.

Can I cancel after signing?+

Yes. Utah Code 31A-26-311 lets you rescind a public adjuster contract in writing within 10 days of signing, unless an acceptable settlement has already been reached. The right is printed in bold on the signature page of our contracts.

Do you take referral fees from contractors or attorneys?+

No, and we could not lawfully do so. Utah Admin Code R590-274-7 prohibits a public adjuster from receiving compensation for referring an insured to an attorney, appraiser, umpire, construction company, contractor, repair firm, or salvage company, and from participating in the repair of the property. Your fee to us is our only compensation on the claim.

Does the retainer cover the cost of managing a claim?+

The Wasatch Resilience Retainer covers the proactive valuations and the emergency response deployment. If a massive loss occurs and we manage the entire claim, our standard contingency fee applies to the newly recovered funds, but you maintain priority service status.
